Usain Bolt has won the men's 100m final at London 2012 in an Olympic record time of 9.63 seconds.
Bolt did not start well but surged away from Blake and Gatlin from the halfway stage to run the second-fastest time in history.
American Tyson Gay finished fourth at the Olympic Stadium.
Jamaican Asafa Powell pulled up during the race, finishing in 11.99secs, but the other seven runners broke 10 seconds, with four of the first five running personal bests.
