BBC Sport rounds up the action you might have missed on Day Six of London 2012.
CANOEING: Great Britain won gold and silver in the canoe slalom C2 event. Tim Baillie and Etienne Stott claimed Britain's first ever gold in the event, with David Florence and Richard Hounslow taking silver.
SHOOTING: Peter Wilson won Britain's fourth gold medal of the Olympics with victory in the double trap competition. The Dorset man finished two shots clear of Sweden's Hakan Dahlby, with Russia's Vasily Mosin in third.
CYCLING: Britain's Victoria Pendleton and Jess Varnish were relegated in the women's team sprint. The British pair won their semi-final but broke the takeover rules when Pendleton overlapped Varnish's wheel too early. They had earlier set a world record, only for China to break it.
BOXING: Anthony Ogogo upset Ukraine's world number one Ievgen Khytrov to make the middleweight quarter-finals.
JUDO: Tagir Khaibulaev won gold for Russia in the men's -100kg judo, beating Mongolia's Naidan Tuvshinbayar in the final in front of his watching President Vladimir Putin. Another magical moment came when Gemma Gibbons became Great Britain's first Olympic judo medallist for 12 years.
BASKETBALL: Great Britain almost shocked world number two side Spain, losing by a single point (79-78). Luol Deng inspired an amazing fightback by top scoring with 26 points.
SWIMMING: Michael Phelps won his first individual gold at London 2012 and his 20th Olympic medal by beating Ryan Lochte in the men's 200m individual medley.
TABLE TENNIS: Zhang Jike won the men's Olympic singles table tennis gold medal, beating compatriot Wang Hao 4-1 in the all-China final.
SWIMMING: American Rebecca Soni beat her own world record as she won gold in the women's 200m breaststroke.
