Olympic torch: Flame arrives in UK for 2012 torch relay

The Olympic flame has landed in the UK on Friday. Flights BA2012, a gold coloured A319 named The Firefly bring the touch to a Cornish air base. Legend David beckham and princess anne lit a cauldron, to mark the flame's arrival on UK soil. There was a royal welcome ceremony to celebrate this memorial situation.

"It's a very proud moment for everybody. Seb (Coe) and the team have done an incredible job. I'm very proud to be part of this team bringing the flame. As a nation we're going to have an amazing couple of months" Said by beckham.

The flame will start fly of an 8,000 mile relay in UK soil on Saturday. It will be the highest relay ever inside home of Olympic history. It will be carried by bearers, or taken in a convoy and will also be transported by boat, bicycle, tram and train. It will travel through 1,019 cities, towns and villages. Eight thousand people will pass it from hand-to-hand, a human chain that reaches the length and breadth of Britain. Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg also participate the event. He invites all Olympics lovers to “find the touch near you” This is the first article about London Olympics.
