Olympics Day 11: What you may have missed

BBC Sport rounds up the action you might have missed on Day 11 of London 2012. 

CYCLING: Sir Chris Hoy claimed a historic sixth gold medal as he won the men's keirin at the London Velodrome, surpassing the total of five golds won by Sir Steve Redgrave. Laura Trott also claimed gold - her second of the Games - in the women's omnium in a nail-biting finale to the six-race event and Victoria Pendleton said farewell to the track with a silver medal in the women's pursuit.

GYMNASTICS: Epke Zonderland stunned the crowd at the North Greenwich Arena with an electric performance on the horizontal bar to win gold.

TRIATHLON: The Brownlee brothers, Alistair and Jonny, delighted the huge crowd gathered in Hyde Park by taking gold and bronze respectively, although Jonny's 15-second penalty for mounting his bike too early in transition cost the brothers a potential one-two.

EQUESTRIAN: Great Britain's dressage team of Laura Bechtolsheimer, Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin won gold ahead of Germany inside Greenwich Park.

ATHLETICS: Australia's Sally Pearson took 100m hurdles gold ahead of reigning champion Dawn Harper with a new Olympic record of 12.35 seconds, while Robbie Grabarz won bronze in the men's high jump final to help Great Britain overhaul the Olympic medal total set at Beijing 2008.

FOOTBALL: Brazil, aiming for a first Olympic gold in the men's tournament, reached the final with a comfortable 3-0 victory against South Korea at Old Trafford. Mano Menezes's unbeaten team will play Mexico, who came from behind to beat Japan 3-1 in the other semi-final, in Saturday's showpiece at Wembley.

HOCKEY: Great Britain's men reached the Olympic semi-finals for the first time since 1988 with a tense 1-1 draw with Spain in their final group match.

ATHLETICS: Algeria's Taoufik Makhloufi, reinstated in the Games having been disqualified for not trying in his 800m heat, left the rest of the men's 1500m field trailing to win the first global title of his career.
 
WRESTLING: Ghasem Rezaei won Iran's third wrestling gold in London by defeating Rustam Totrov in the -96kg Greco-Roman final.
 
GYMNASTICS: USA's Aly Raisman added gold in the women's floor to the bronze medal she claimed in the beam earlier on Day 11.
